Cost Transaction Query

Overview

The Cost Transaction Query function allows the user to view select transactions based on input filters for Division, Transaction Type, and a Date Range. Executing the query retrieves all transactions matching the input criteria and presents them in a list view.  The transactions can then be viewed individually.

Fields
 
Division:  Division in which the transactions will be queried.

Item Number:  Enter an item number to view cost transactions for just one item, leave blank for all items.

Start Date (Required):  Enter/Select a start date for the query.

End Date (Optional):  
Enter/Select an end date for the query.

Transaction ID:  Enter the transaction type:  For example, INVDIVDIV, which is a Division to Division Transfer transaction.
 
Select the ‘Submit’ button to view all cost transactions took place between the date range specified and where the transaction type was Inventory Division to Division Transfer (INVDIVDIV).

Clicking on the View link opens a detailed window showing all the transaction detail capture on the cost transaction.

User-added image  NOTE Inventory Cost Transaction are also viewed using the Navigation:  Inventory Management > Inventory Cost Transaction.  This is a list view access method.

For transactions types related to Inventory, there is an Inv Location tab. For transaction types related to Order (Work Order, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders), the Inv Location tab is replaced with an Orders tab.
