-
To generate forecast demands for items, enter the values for the fields below:
Fields
Mode: Select 'Generate Forecast Entries' mode.
Division: The division in which the forecast is to be generated.
New Run: When checked, this will be a new run and not an add or change to an existing run.
Buckets: Enter the number of each time bucket desired. For example, if the Forecast will cover 6 months, you might enter 4 in the Weekly field and 5 in the Monthly field. This means there will be 4 buckets of a week each and 5 additional buckets of a month each. Default Qty is the quantity you will forecast for each bucket. For example, you could forecast 25 per weekly bucket and 100 per monthly bucket. These amounts can be overridden.
Starting Date: The starting date of the forecast.
Number of Rows: The number of rows defines the number of different items to be included in this forecast. All rows do not need to be used.
Project: Project in which the forecast will be generated. If Project Control is not used in this Division, enter the Home Project.
