This article covers the setup steps required to create and process Freight and Landed Costs.

Navigation

The application can be found by navigating to the Salesforce App Launcher > Freight and Landed Costs. The following setup steps include navigation paths. 

Setup Steps
 

  • Set the flag 'Freight Landed Active' on the Division Master > Landed Cost Tab as TRUE and enter the requested Freight and Landed Cost-related Sub-Ledger accounts.

  • Ensure the users have access to the report and dashboard folders that contain the Freight and Landed Cost reports.

  • This step is required for Non-Admin users

    • Freight and Landed Cost Permission Sets should be assigned as needed. Please refer to the Permission Sets in Permission Sets - Freight & Landed Costs.

      • Setup > Administration > Users > Permission Sets

  • Edit the Page Layout Assignments and assign the FLC-related layouts as needed for existing Rootstock objects. Suggested objects are:

    • Division Master

    • Rootstock Cost Transaction

    • Purchase Order Line

    • Purchase Order Header

    • Inventory by Item / Project (if Weighted Average Costing with Projects)

    • Inventory Item Costs / Qty (If Weighted Average Costing without Projects)

    • Inventory Item Standard Costs (if Standard Cost)

    • Inventory Item Master

    • Item Vendor Master

  • The user will require a Rootstock Full Access user license to access the Freight and Landed Cost functions. See the Manufacturing Users article for additional information.
