Fields

Name:  Name of the Journal Detail.

Journal Header:  The Journal "Header" that this "Detail" record is associated with.

Mfg Account:  The Sub Ledger Account (aka Mfg Account) that is being debited or credited with this transaction. The given Sub Ledger Account maps directly to the GL Account defined on the Sub Ledger Account record specified.

Entry Type:  Identifies this record as being either a Credit or a Debit.

Amount:  The total amount (value) being transacted with this Detail record.

Line Description:  The transaction "type" that generated this record. Typically it matches the Transaction ID on the Inventory Cost Transaction triggering the add of this record. When not triggered from an Inventory Cost Transaction, it is set to a meaningful description.

Project:  When this detail record is generated from an Inventory Cost Transaction, Project is set to the Project from said transaction, otherwise it is set to blank.

Dimension1 Value:  This is the Dimension1 value defined for this transaction type.

Dimension2 Value:  This is the Dimension2 value defined for this transaction type.

Dimension3 Value:  This is the Dimension3 value defined for this transaction type.

Dimension4 Value:  This is the Dimension4 value defined for this transaction type.

Dimension5 Value:  This is the Dimension5 value defined for this transaction type.

Dimension6 Value:  This is the Dimension6 value defined for this transaction type.

Dimension7 Value:  This is the Dimension7 value defined for this transaction type.

Dimension8 Value:  This is the Dimension8 value defined for this transaction type.

Export Summary:  Export transaction summary from the user defined location.

Line Type:  Used by FinancialForce only. Valid values are 'G' and 'P'.

Cross Reference GL Account:  The corresponding General Ledger Account specified on the Sub Ledger Account (aka Mfg Account) used for this transaction.

Product:  For Sales Order related transactions, this is the Rootstock Product for which this transaction was performed.

Cost Transaction:  The Inventory Cost Transaction record ID that triggered the add of this record.

Division:  The Division in which the transaction occurred that trigger this detail record to be added.
 
Transaction Date:  The date of the Inventory Cost Transaction record ID that triggered the add of this record.

Is Credit:  Check the checkbox, if this record is a 'Credit' type.

Is Debit:  Check the checkbox, if this record is a 'Debit' type.

 
Buttons
 
Edit:  This button is used to edit or make changes in the journal detail record.

Delete:  This button is used to delete the journal detail record.

Clone:  This button is used to clone the record to make a new journal detail record, if you want the same data from old record to new record.

Save:  Click this button to save the record.

Cancel:  Use this button to cancel the last changes.
