Overview
Non Recurring Contract Charges can be produced by creating Miscellaneous Product Master records and adding them to the Sales Contract. These charges are one time as opposed to Recurring Charges and will be included in a Recurring Billing run as scheduled. The Contract Charge can be applied as a Contract wide charge or associated to a Covered Device (Shipped Item Warranty) when added to a Sales Contract.
An example of a Contract Charge would be a one-time installation charge for the Sales Contract. This charge could be for all devices on the Contract (as a Contract General Misc Charge) or for a particular Covered Device.
Application
Creation of one-time (Non Recurring) Products that can be added as charges to a Sales Contract for inclusion in a Recurring Billing run as scheduled.

Refer to the Products documentation to gain familiarity with creating and managing Products in Rootstock.

Click New Rootstock Product Master button.

Select the appropriate Miscellaneous Product Group.

Set the Product Type to Miscellaneous.

Amend the Product Master and Tabs as required.

Save.
