Fields

Material Ohd Rate (as decimal):  The factor used to calculate the material cost overhead amount. This rate is expressed in decimals (.35 rather than 35%) and is used in both Weighted Average Cost and Standard Cost environments.

Account, Inv Adjust:  This Mfg Acct is used as the offsetting account when an Inventory Adjustment is made. For example, if the OH quantity is increased for a given item, this account is credited, and Inventory is debited. On a decrease, this account is debited, and Inventory is credited.

Account, PPV:  Mfg Acct used to debit or credit the difference between an Item's Standard Cost versus the price paid on a given Purchase Order. For example, if an Item has a Standard Cost of $5 and the purchase price is $4, $1 is credited to Inventory and debited to the PPV Acct.

Account, Subcontract PO WIP:  This Mfg Account is the account charged with any charges to a Subcontract Purchase Order. When components are issued to a Subcontract PO, this account is debited, and when the Purchase Order is received or scrapped, this account is credited.

Account, Inventory Scrap:  This Mfg Account is the account charged when scrapping an item associated with this Comm Code. When defining this value on the Comm Code, the selection must be one with a GL Type of "Cost of Goods Sold".

Account, Non-Nettabletory:  This Mfg Account is the account charged when inventory is placed into a Non-Nettable Stock Location for any item associated with this Comm Code. When defining this value on the Comm Code, the selection must be one with a GL Type of "Non-Nettable"

Account, Material Ohd Variance:  This is the account debited if the Actual Material Overhead Amount is greater than the Standard Material Overhead Amount and the account that is credited if the Actual Material Overhead Amount is less than the Standard Material Overhead Amount.

Account, Rework WO WIP:  This Mfg Account is the account charged with any charges to a Rework Work Order. When a charge is applied to a Rework Work Order, this account is debited, and when the Item produced on the Rework Work Order is received or scrapped, this is the account credited.

FIFO Costing Method Indicator:  Enabled when 'FIFO Costing Method Active' is checked on the Company Master, Cost Method is Weighted Average (set on the Division Master) and Inventory Source = Purchased.  When checked, items associated with this Commodity Code will have FIFO costing applied.

Account, Inventory:  This Mfg Account is the Inventory/Asset account in which all inventory associated with this Commodity Code will be charged. When defining this value on the Commodity Code, the selection must be one with a GL Type of "Inventory".

Account, WO WIP:  This Mfg Account is the account charged with any charges to a Work Order. When a charge is applied to a Work Order, this account is debited, and when the Item produced on the Work Order is received or scrapped, this account is credited.

Account, WO/Subc PO Variance:  This is the sub-ledger account debited or credited with the value of WO or SubContract PO variances, calculated when the Order is closed.

Account, Subcontract PO Variance:  When specified, this sub-ledger account serves as an override to the 'Account, WO/Subc PO Variance' for Subcontract PO variances calculated at the time the Purchase Order is closed.

Account, WO Scrap:  This Mfg Account is debited when Items are scrapped off of a Work Order.

Account, Negative Variance:  This is the Mfg Account that is debited or credited when the Inventory Value has the potential of going negative.

Account, WIP Disassembly:  This Mfg Account is the account charged when charges are applied to Disassembly Work Orders.

Account, Rework WO Variance:  This is the MFG Account that will be used to record the Variance from Standard for a Rework Work Order. The Rework WO Variance will be computed by subtracting the Standard Cost of the Item produced from the Actual amount charged to the Work Order.

Accounting Dimension Value:  The Accounting Dimension Value associated with this Commodity Code.

  • If the flag is checked, the Sub-Ledger Accounts with the 'GL Type' as 'Inventory', 'Inventory Adjustment', or 'Variance' are available for selection.

  • Otherwise, only the Sub-Ledger Accounts with the 'GL Type' as 'Variance' are available for selection.
