Overview
Rootstock provides a Price Book capability that allows users to implement Price Books in the Sales Order Line pricing scheme. If a Price Book is specified on a Sales Order and a valid Price Book detail exists for the Product being sold, the price from the Price Book is used, overriding all other price methods except manual override on the Sales Order Line.
NOTE This is not the same as the Price Book used in Salesforce.

To add a new record New SO Price Book button.

To edit an existing record, select Edit in the Action column.

This page is used to define or modify a 'Sales Order Price Book'.

You can define a Price book code, identify if the book is active or not, and set the start and end dates for pricing effectiveness.

These are defined by Rootstock Product.
Fields
Division: This is the Division associated with this SO Price Book
Price Book ID: This is the user-defined unique ID for this SO Price Book, up to 30 characters in length.
Active: When checked, indicates that this SO Price Book is active and available in new/existing Sales Orders. When unchecked, indicates that this SO Price Book is inactive and not available for Sales Orders.
Date Effective: When checked, the 'Starting Date' and 'Ending Date' fields are enabled. The Date Effective also drives the date range for which this SO Price Book will be effective.
Starting Date: This is the first date when this SO Price Book is effective.
Ending Date: This is the last date when this SO Price Book is effective.
Comments: User-defined comments for this SO Price Book.
Price Book Currency: This is the currency for this SO Price Book. The user can select from defined currencies. This value filters available Price Books on Sales Orders Header/Lines and Configuration Sessions. The Price Book currency must match the Customer maintenance Currency (also when Sales Orders are added via SOAPI or Sales Order API). The Price Book currency and the fetched price will be used as is when queried by the pricing logic engine, without any conversion rates applied.
Click the Save button to save the record.

Fields
Product Number: This is the Rootstock Product for which this SO Price Book entry applies.
Unit Price: This is the Unit Price for the given Product.
Source: User-defined price source, if applicable.
Comments: User-defined comments.
