Overview
Sub-Ledger Accounts required in the Sales Process are defined here, most notably the Sales (Revenue) Account and Cost of Sales (COGS) Account for the given Product.

Fields
Sales Account: Default Sales Account set on an RS Quote Line or SO Line added for the given Product
Cost of Sales Account: Default Cost of Sales Account (COGS) set on an RS Quote Line of SO Line added for this Product
Shipping Clearing Account: Default Shipping Clearing Account for an RS Quote Line or SO Line when Consolidated Shipping is NOT active (so when using “pick, pack and ship”). This is essentially a Sales Order WIP account, holding the cost of issued ("picked") Products until the eventual transfer to Cost of Sales at shipment time ("shipped").
Accounting Dimension Value: The Accounting Dimension value set on Inventory Cost Transactions (SYTXNCST) created when transacting this Product on Sales Orders or RMAs
Amortization Candidate: When checked, identifies that the revenue for this Product, when shipped and invoiced, can be amortized, deferring revenue recognition as desired
Deferred Sales Account: This field holds the Deferred Sales Account which is used for the initial transaction entry with subsequent entries generated by the amortization processing incrementally transferring to the Sales Account.
Deferred COS Account: This field holds the Deferred Cost of Sales Account, which is used for the initial transaction entry with subsequent entries generated by the amortization processing incrementally transferring to the Cost of Sales Account.
Amortization - Planned Total Months: This field holds the Planned Number of Months to be used by the amortization processing when incrementally transferring from Deferred Revenue to the Sales Account.
Amortization – Front Load First Period: This field indicates that the first period of the amortization process (which incrementally moves Deferred Revenue to the Sales Account) is to carry a disproportionally large amount (as defined on the Percentage or Amount fields).
Amortization – Front Load Percentage: This field carries the percentage of the total amount that is to be used in the first period of the amortization process which incrementally moves Deferred Revenue to the Sales Account.
Amortization – Front Load Amount: This field carries the amount that is to be used in the first period of the amortization process, which incrementally moves Deferred Revenue to the Sales Account.
Deferred Sales Account Indicator: If enabled, the Deferred Sales Account will be the one associated with the commodity code instead of the product.
Deferred COS Account Indicator: If enabled, the Deferred Cost of Sales Account will be the one associated with the commodity code instead of the product.
Amortization - Planned Total Months Ind: If enabled, the planned total month value will be taken from the commodity code instead of the product.
Amortization – Front Load First Period Ind: If enabled, the Front Load First Period value will be taken from the commodity code instead of the product.
Amortization – Front Load Percentage Ind: If enabled, the Front Load Percentage value will be taken from the commodity code instead of the product.
