Overview
The Sales Contract Device Transfer module is used to easily and efficiently transfer Covered Device/s from one Sales Contract to another Sales Contract. Unlike the transfer functionality within the Sales Contract Device Deal Management (which restricts the transfer to only occur between Sales Contract associated with the same Customer), the transfers within this module can occur between different Customers.
The module supports quick and efficient transfer of Covered Device/s between Sales Contracts via filters that will control which Covered Device/s are displayed in the results and then process the transfer in one process.
Application
Used to process transfers of Covered Device/s from one Sales Contract to another Sales Contract regardless of the Customer association.
IMPORTANT Using this module, the Sales Contract of an active Contract Covered Serialized Device can be transferred to a new Sales Contract if one of the below conditions is satisfied:
-
The Customer of the new Sales Contract and the original Sales Contract are the same.
-
The new Sales Contract's Customer is one of the valid related Customers of the original Sales Contract's Customer. In that relationship, the new Customer should be the 'Secondary Customer,' and the original Customer should be the 'Primary Customer'.
Prerequisites
Creation of a Sales Contract with associated Covered Devices.
