Overview

Describe fields contained in the Sales Order Header > Contact tab, and functionality related to them. After changes are completed, the user can commit them by clicking Save on Sales Order Header.

Contact Tab

Fields
 

Customer Contacts:  The contact associated with this Sales Order Header. Defaults from field Default Contact on selected Customer, and can be changed to valid contacts for said Customer. This contact field and related contact details are just a reference, to this Sales Order. Not carried over to SO Shipper, nor used on printed documents.

Email:  This is the Email address for this Sales Order. Defaults from field Email on selected Contact, and can be overridden by the user.

Phone:  This is the Phone Number for this Sales Order. Defaults from field Phone on selected Contact, and can be overridden by the user.

Fax:  This is the Fax Number for this Sales Order. Defaults from field Fax on selected Contact, and can be overridden by the user.

Method:  This is the preferred method for communicating with the Customer Contact for this Sales Order (Email, Phone, Fax, Text to email, and Text to phone).
