Overview
Shipping Methods describe the physical means of transportation, for example, Ground, Next Day Air, etc. They differ from carriers who are the providers of the shipping service (UPS, FedEx, etc.).
Application
This code is used on the Customer Class and can be overridden on the Customer Master.

- To add a new record, select the ‘New Ship Method’Type Code, button
- To edit an existing record, select ‘Edit’ in the Action column
- To view, select 'Name' in the Name Column
Fields
Code: This is the identification of how the goods are to sent from Vendor to Buyer.
Description: This is the description associated with the Ship Via Type Code.
