Overview
The Shop Floor Time Entry Transactions page in Rootstock will allow the user to enter both clock-on and clock-off transactions.
The Clock-On page will:
- Require the user to specify a Work Order and Operation.
- Optionally allow the user to indicate that the transaction is for Setup Labor.
- Optionally allow for entry of a Machine and have an indicator to automatically clock-off of any
- existing open jobs.
The Clock-Off page will:
- Allow the user to clock off a specific Work Order Operation.
- Optionally allow for the entry of a ‘quantity completed’ at that operation or clock off all to which he
- is currently clocked on.
The Clock-Off process will drive the creation of a standard Rootstock Labor Transaction, and optionally the
Machine booking and a standard ‘Quantity Complete’ transaction.

Clock-On Job
Fields
Division: The Division for which this record applies.
Clock Number: The Clock Number of the Mfg User clocking-onto the given WO Operation.
Work Order Number: The Work Order being clocked into when activity begins for the given WO Operation.
Operation Number: The Work Order Operation associated with the Work Order selected that is being clocked into to begin activity.
Setup Labor: If activity is Setup, check this checkbox.
Machine Number: If Machine time is being reported, enter the Machine used here.
Clock Off all Existing Open Jobs: When checked, all WO Operations the given user is clocked into will be clocked off and the time calculated accordingly.
Buttons
Save: This button is used for save the data to create a new record.
Back: This button is used to go back to previous page without any changes in the current page.
Clock-Off Job
Fields
Division: The Division for which this record applies.
Clock Number: The Clock Number of the Mfg User clocking-off of the given WO Operation.
Work Order Number: The Work Order to be clocked off when activity is complete.
Operation Number: The Work Order Operation (currently clocked into) to be clocked off when activity is complete.
Quantity Complete: The quantity being completed at this operation for the given clock-on/clock off activity.
Clock Off All Existing Open Jobs: When checked, all WO Operations the given user is clocked into will be clocked off and the time calculated accordingly.
Buttons
Save: This button is used for save the data to create a new record.
Back: This button is used to go back to previous page without any changes in the current page.
