Contract Entitlements

Overview

Entitlements are Products or Services that are provided at a reduced price, or for free, that are associated with Products sold via the Contract. An Entitlement is a Product Master record where entitlement limits can be defined. Refer to the 
How to Create and Manage Entitlement Products documentation when creating Entitlement Products.

Application


Used to associate Products or Services that are supplied free or at a reduced price as part of the Sales Contract.

Prerequisites

Entitlement Product Master setup (refer to the How to Create and Manage Entitlement Products documentation)

Navigation

Sales Contracts Maintenance (not in Edit mode)
  • Entitlements button - used to add Entitlements to the Sales Contract
  • Contract Entitlements - displays Entitlements associated to the Sales Contract
Processing
  1. Click on the Entitlements button to add a new Contract Entitlement.
  2. Click Add and then search for an Entitlement Product Master record.
  3. Set to Active.
  4. If the Entitlement applies to all Covered Devices on the Sales Contract - click Save.
  5. If the Entitlement applies to a specific Covered Device - click on the Covered Items button and add Covered Devices as required.
Fields

Entitlement:  Use auto-complete field to enter Entitlement Product Number.

Active:  When checked, the Entitlement is active against the Sales Contract.

Applies to Specific Covered Items:  When checked, indicates that the Entitlement only applies to certain Covered Devices.

Covered Items:  When accessed, will show Covered Devices associated with the Entitlement.
