Fields

Rework-Refurb WO Operation Code:  The single character code that identifies operations used on a rework Work Order. When the routing is to be extracted, this code is entered, and only those operations identified with this code are extracted.

Print Tasks on Traveler:  If checked, any tasks entered for a routing operation/process will print on the traveler.

Print Op Notes and Attachments on Traveler:  Notes and attachments on the part routing (New Note and Attach File buttons on the bottom of the screen) will print on the routing if this box is checked.

Transfer SF Attachments on Rtg Extract:  When checked, SalesForce Attachments will also be extracted when Operations are Extracted on Work Orders.

Transfer SF Notes on Routing Extract:  When checked, Salesforce Notes attached to Routing Operations will be written to WO Operations when performing an operation extract to a Work Order.

Enable Manual Scheduling Method:  When active, this feature accommodates an external Work Order scheduling capability and prevents Rootstock from overwriting values that have been calculated and manually updated by the user. When active in a Division, Rootstock scheduling is bypassed, and updates to Scheduled and Due Dates do not impact other dates.

Reset WO Release Date After Op Extract:  If checked, the release date of the work order will be recalculated when the operations are extracted. This may result in a release date prior to today’s date, if necessary, to make the due date.  The user then has the opportunity to set the release date (as well as other dates on the ‘Dates’ tab) to best schedule the Work Order.

Allow Qty Comp Per Qty Req vs Qty Avail:  When checked, quantity bookings will be allowed on all operations (except the last operation), regardless of completion status on previous operations. The quantity available will be the Work Order quantity minus (the number reported complete at this operation plus work order completions). Rules for reporting quantity complete at the final operation will not be changed.

Schedule Remaining Using Hours vs Qty:  When checked, Scheduling will use labor/machine hours remaining on an operation (based on standards set up on routing) to be the "total scheduled time" less labor/machine hours booked. Note that if hours booked exceed the total scheduled time, the remaining time will be considered zero (0).

Alternate Routings Exclude Standard Ops:  If it is checked, only the alternate operations are extracted. Otherwise, the standard operations along with the alternate operations are extracted.

Outside Operations Booking Active:  This field activates the Outside Operations feature in this division, allowing for a Purchase Order to be associated with a Work Order Operation, with the Purchase Order related costs going directly to Work Order WIP upon receipt of the Purchase Order.

Allow Labor Booking on Firm Work Orders:  This field activates a feature that allows Labor Bookings to be made on Work Order at status 2, 3, and 4 (in addition to 5 – 8).
