Overview
A Financial System User record is required for each Manufacturing User to perform Financial-related activities. To add these setup records, a valid manufacturing user record must exist for the users. It is OK not to set Financial Company in the initial add of the first user (only), but it will need to be set once the Financial Company is added.
Prerequisites
Manufacturing User: An active Manufacturing Users record must exist in order to create a Financial System User
Navigation
Financial System Setup > Financial System User
Processing
From the list view click the 'New' button to add new Financial System Users record.
Fields
Manufacturing Users: Select a valid Manufacturing User.
NOTE Once the record is created, the value of this field cannot be modified.
Multi Financial Company User: When checked, allows the given Financial User to access all Financial Companies on the org.
Default Financial Company: Set to the Financial Company most often used by the given Financial User.
Current Financial Company: When Financial User is a Multi Financial Company user, you can switch which Financial Company you are in by changing this field to the Financial Company desired. In many pages, this can be done via a slide out menu on upper right of page, if desired.
