Locations
The locations tab identifies the physical locations where the materials for inspection are located and where they will be moved once their inspection status is determined.
Fields
Inspection Order Location ID: The current Location ID of the materials to be inspected.
Inspection Order Location Number: The Location Number associated with the Location ID for the materials to be inspected. The Location Number is typically a specific bin or bay inside a larger area defined by the Location ID.
Originating Inventory Site: If the materials were transferred from another site within Rootstock in an inventory transfer transaction, the source site is identified here.
Originating Location ID: The more granular Location ID of the source site is identified here.
Originating Location Number: The specific source bin or bay is identified here.
NOTE The fields 'Originating Location ID' and 'Originating Location Number' can be edited (via inline edit only) when the 'Source of Inspection' is 'PO Receipt' or 'On-Hand Inventory' and the 'Order Status' is other than 'Dispositioned'.
Location ID for Scrapped Disposition: Materials that fail inspection are moved to this Location ID for scrapping.
Location Number for Scrapped Disposition: Materials that fail inspection are moved to this specific Location number within the Location ID specified above.
Location ID for Other Disposition: Materials that need further inspection or review are moved to this Location ID for further action.
Location Number for Other Disposition: Materials needing further review are moved to this Location Number inside the Location ID above for further action. This is typically a bin or a bay.
