Overview
Inventory Item By Site/Project provides a view of inventory segregated by Site and Project. In addition to the Site and Project Number, each record contains the quantity on-hand, allocated, non-nettable, and net quantity available.
Application
When Projects are active in a Division, this object provides information on Inventory locations and quantities within specific Sites and Projects and the Item's availability within the SIte and Project for allocation management.
Navigation
Inventory Management > Inventory Item By Site/Project
This path takes the user to a ListView, where the records may be viewed.
NOTE Because the following objects display data created through inventory transactions, there is no option to edit existing or create new Inventory Item by Site/Project records.
If an individual record is chosen from the list view, the single record is displayed for review.
Fields
Division: Division associated with this Inventory Item By Site/Project Master.
Item Number: The designator of the given Item.
Site: The Site in which the Inventory resides.
Project: Project Number associated with the Inventory Item By Site/Project Master. If Project Control is not active in this Division, the Home Project will be displayed.
Last Location ID: The Last Location ID in which the given Item in the given Site and Project resided (or resides).
Last Location No: The Last Location Number in which the given Item in the given Site and Project resided (or resides).
Qty On-Hand: Total quantity On-Hand in all locations for this Division/Site/Item/Project. This field is updated for any transaction within this Division, Item, Site, and Project that affects the Inventory Location quantity whose Location Type is 'On-Hand'.
Qty Allocated: Reflects the on-hand quantity currently allocated to various demands.
Qty Available: Reflects the quantity available to issue, whether already allocated or not.
Qty Consigned: Customer-owned material in this Division, Item, Site, and Project. This field is updated for any transaction within this Division, Item, Site, and Project that affects the Inventory Location quantity whose Location Type is 'Consigned'.
Qty Non-Nettable: Total non-nettable material in this Division, Item, Site, and Project. This field is updated for any transaction within this Division, Item, Site, and Project that affects the Inventory Location quantity whose Location Type is 'Non-Nettable'.
Qty VMI: Total Vendor managed quantity in all locations for this Division/Site/Item/Project. This field is updated for any transaction within this Division, Item, Site, and Project that affects the Inventory Location quantity whose Location Type is 'VMI' (Vendor Managed Inventory).
Net Qty Available: Reflects the quantity still available to allocate. Note that this value controls inventory allocation from the various functions used for allocating inventory.
