Overview
This tab is enabled when Selectable Associated Inventory Item is checked under Product Master > Inventory tab. When used, multiple Inventory Items can be associated with the given Product, which then can be optionally selected when adding SO Lines.NavigationProducts > Inventory Items Tab
ActionClick on New Inventory Item link to add additional Inventory Items
Product Inventory Item Fields
Inventory Item: Valid Inventory Item for given Division that can be optionally be shipped to fulfill SO Lines for the given Product.
Item is Active (Selectable): When checked, Item will appear as option for selection in SO Entry
Make Selected Item the Product Default (optional): Check the Select checkbox if you wish for a specific item to be the default, then click on this button. Ir will update the Inventory item on the Product Master > Inventory tab, and set it as default for this Product when SO Lines are added, but it can be overridden as described below..
When a Sales Order Line is added, user can change the Inventory Item (from those already set up in this Inventory Items tab) for the SO Line before it is saved, by clicking on the icon
below the Product field cell.
