Overview
Explain the functionality available under the Additional button, for Sales Order Lines contained in Line Items section of a Sales Order Header. Functionality can also be found on the Sales Order Line page itself.
Sales Order Line Additional section and buttons
When Sales Order entry is on High Volume mode (the Sales Order does not have a Line Items section, but simply a Sales Order Lines related list), the user is taken to the Sales Order Line specific page when clicking on New Sales Order Line or, If accessing an existing Sales Order Line, when clicking the Line hyperlink, on the Sales Order Lines related list section of the Sales Order Header page. The Sales Order Line page can also be accessed from the Sales Order Line object list-view.
If using Sales Order Entry Normal mode, the Additional button is available for each Sales Order Line on the right end of it, directly from the Sales Order Header page. The button will open a pop-up window with multiple tabs that show the details of this Sales Order Line and some buttons on the top of the mini-page pop-up.
The following Line Level Details can be changed/added to the Sales Order Line by clicking the Additional button or from the Sales Order Line page itself:
Buttons:
Commission Detail: When this button is clicked, the Sales Order Commissions page for this Sales Order Line is opened in a new tab. From that page, the user can view Salesperson, Percent, and Split Percent Commission details as they pertain to this Sales Order Line. The user can override the Commission Schedules specifically for this Sales Order Line if desired, and further changes to the Sales Order Header commissions will no longer be pushed to this Sales Order Line. Once the Sales Order has been fulfilled and a SO Invoice is created, the Sales Order Header commissions can be reviewed on it. See Sales Commission for details on setup and processing of this feature.
NOTE Available only once the Sales Order Line has been added and saved.
ATP: Available to Promise, only visible for those Sales Order Lines with Stock Product Types. The button takes the user to the Summary Review by Item page, which is loaded with Item and Project values fetched from the Sales Order Line. On this page, the user can input item, project, and date information (on left) and which planning, demand, and forecasting indicators they would like to see for the item (on the right). Once the selections are made on the Summary Review page, the user can Submit and see the item’s Summary Review, as well as the MRP Policies, Lead Times, and current Inventory.
Component ATP: Available for Stock, Configured, and Kit SO Lines. This button takes the user to the SO Line Component ATP screen, where the user can view Component quantity details for the Line Item Parent Product. If the Product Master has multiple Inventory Divisions (Product Master Inventory Division Tab), a tab will appear for each of its Inventory Divisions. Under each tab, a list of the component items and inventory availability details are shown related to the Product. The fetched information depends by Product Type, as described below:

Kit: The list of components is fetched from the Sales Order Inventory Demands tab (Sales Order Line Component Button). Each of these demands is created from the existing inventory Product Component for this Kit Product, when the Sales Order Line is added. Sales Order Inventory Demands can be overridden, removed and new ones added by the user before the Sales Order Line is firmed.
Configured: The list of components is fetched from the Configured Sales Order Materials tab (Sales Order Line Component Button). Each of these materials is created from either inventory Product Components or effective BOM from the related PEITEM for the Inventory Item referenced on the Product Master > inventory tab, when the Sales Order Line is added. The source depends on box Use Product Components vs Eng BOM setting on Product Master Inventory Tab. Configured Sales Order Material can be overridden, removed and new ones added by the user before the Sales Order Line is firmed.
Stock: The list of components is fetched from the effective BOM from the related PEITEM for the Inventory Item referenced on the Product Master > Inventory tab.
