Overview

This article outlines the information regarding Work Order’s Non-Inventory Components record creation and maintenance.

Application

Work Order Non-Inventory Components track entities with a relationship to the Work Order, but without inventory. When a Work Order is created from a Configured Sales Order Line, Non-Inventory components may be derived from it upon creation.

Fields
 

Work Order:  This is the Work Order associated with this Non-Inventory Component.

Component Name:  This is the name of the Non-Inventory Component.

Operation Number:  This is the Operation Number (numeric value) with which this Non-Inventory Component is associated.

Work Order Operation:  This is the Work Order Operation with which this Non-Inventory Component is associated.

Work Order Component:  This is the Work Order Component with which this Non-Inventory Component is associated.

SO Line NIC:  This field links the 'Line Non-Inventory Comps' associated with this Non-Inventory Component.

  • The value of this field is set only by the system and cannot be changed by the user.

  • If this record is created manually, the value of this field must be left blank.
