Overview

This menu option provides the function to view and maintain the comments fields of Work Order Component Detail records.

Application

It can be used to display a Work Order Component Detail Record for each issued (Work Order Issue Transaction) Component item on a Work Order.

User-added image  NOTE  Only Components that have been issued to Work Orders have Work Order Component Detail records.

It can also be used to view the records of Component items issued to the Work Order and to add Component comments. 

User-added image  EXAMPLE  To view all Components issued to a Work Order while not having to access this information through the Work Order itself.

Fields
 

Division:  Division of the Record.

Order Number:  Work Order Number.

Component Item:  Item Number of the Component issued.

Project:  Project Number of the Work Order.

Qty Issued:  Quantity of the Work Order Component issued to the Work Order. 

User-added image  NOTE  For Serial Controlled Components, this will always be ‘1’ because a unique Component Detail Record is created for each serial number issued. For Lot Controlled Items, this will indicate the number of the specific lot that was issued.

Comments:  Comments about the Component item on this Work Order.

Stock Loc Type:  The Inventory Control Location Type for the issue transaction for this Component.

Site:  The site within the Division for this Work Order.

Component Serial Number:  When the Component item is serial controlled, the serial number of the Component item issued to the Work Order. If more than 1 of these Serial Controlled Component is issued to this Work Order, multiple Component details will be created, one for each serial number.

Line:  Demand Line number.

Sequence Number:  Unique sequence number for this transaction.

Component Revision:  Revision of the issued Component item.

Lot Number:  The Lot Number of the Component issued to the Work Order if the item is a lot controlled item.  If multiple lots were issued, this will be the lot number for the quantity issued in the field above.

Inventory Container:  The Inventory Container associated with the Work Order Demand.

Fields


Unit Cost, Material:  When items are issued, this field is updated with the Component's Unit Material Cost. In a Standard Cost System, this is derived from Cumulative Standard Material.

Unit Cost, Labor:  When Items are issued, this field is updated with the Component's Unit Labor Cost. In a Standard Cost System, this is derived from Cumulative Standard Labor.

Unit Cost, Material Ohd:  When Items are issued, this field is updated with the Component's Unit Overhead Material cost. In a Standard Cost System, this is derived from Cumulative Standard Material Overhead.

Unit Cost, Labor Ohd:  When Items are issued, this field is updated with the Component's Unit Overhead Labor cost. In a Standard Cost System, this is derived from Cumulative Standard Labor Overhead.

Unit Cost, Fringe Ohd:  When Items are issued, this field is updated with the Component's Unit Overhead Fringe cost. In a Standard Cost System, this is calculated from Cumulative Standard Fringe Overhead.

Unit Cost, Machine Ohd:  When Items are issued, this field is updated with the Component's Unit Overhead Machine Cost. In a Standard Cost System, this is derived from Cumulative Standard Machine Overhead.

Unit Cost, Subcontract Material:  When Items are issued, this field is updated with the Component's Unit Subcontract Material Cost. In a Standard Cost System, this is derived from Cumulative Standard Subcontract Material.  

Unit Cost, Subcontract Labor:  When Items are issued, this field is updated with the Component's Unit Subcontract Labor Cost. In a Standard Cost System, this is derived from Cumulative Standard Subcontract Labor.
