Overview
The Operation Task Function is used to specify additional detail to a Work Order Operation.
Application
When a sequence of activities within an operation is to be defined and a specific Manufacturing User assigned to the task.
NOTE Adding a task to an operation is not a required activity.
Navigation
Work Order > Related List > Operation Tab > View > Tasks Button
Process
Select the Task button. The Task page will display
Select the Add button
Fields
Task ID: Unique identifier for the Task.
Description: Description of the Task.
Assign to: Select the Manufacturing User to whom the Task is assigned.
Repeat the Add button as required.
Select the OK button to save the Task.
Selecting the Reset button clears entries.
Checking the Select indicator will display a button, Remove Selected.
