Create a Sales Order, making sure that the Customer defaults for Carrier and Default Ship Method reflect a ZenKraft carrier and a Shipping Method whose description matches the Carrier’a Service Type. Go to Sales Order > Advanced section > Shipping tab.
NOTE To verify that required Recipient Information contains a proper address, postal code, contact name, phone number and email, go to Sales Order > Addresses button > Ship-To tab.
Add Sales Order Lines, which also carry Carrier and Shipping Method values from header, but which can be overridden. If overridden, be sure it is with a ZenKraft Line Carrier and a Ship Method whose description matches the Carrier’s Service Type. Go to Sales Order > Sales Order Line > Additional tab > Ship-To Settings.
Go to SO Fulfillment and perform Pick & Pack steps, so that a Shipper is created.
NOTE If the fulfillment is for multiple SO Line, SO Shippers will be created and contain SO Lines that have same Ship-To address or Shipping details.
Access the Shipper and create Containers (this can be done by either ‘Shipping Containers’ or ‘Auto-Create Containers’ buttons)
NOTE Only shipments with Containers can be processed by ZenKraft.
A. Manual Addition of Shipping Containers:
Click Shipping Containers button.
Click ‘Add’ button and select ‘Container Type’ from dropdown.
Once selected, go to lower section and select newly-created Container ID from dropdown.
Set ‘Tare Weight’ if desired and adjust ‘Net Weight’ (defaulted from RS Product Master setting) if desired.
When finished, click on ‘Save’, then click on ‘Close’ button to close pop-up.
Click Auto-Create Containers button, on pop-up window, click Confirm.
Results will be displayed. If there are any errors/corrections to be made, they will be listed on the Description column.
The button label will change to Containers, for user review of created Containers.
Once the Container/s is/are created, the SO Shipper page will refresh, showing the SO Container just created in the Sales Order Shipping Container related list.
If a scale has been configured with Zenkraft, it is possible to Get Weight from Scale by clicking on Shipping Containers button. On pop-up window, click Get Weight from Scale buttonon container section, which will fetch the weight from the connected scale. Navigate to Container (can use hyperlink on related list section) and click on ‘Edit’ button.
Note ‘Net Weight’ and ‘Tare Weight’ of Container and adjust if desired.
Set ‘Value of Contents’ (optional) and Save. This will be the “Declared Value” used by the carrier. If blank, $0 will be used.
Once the Shipper and Container are ready for processing, click on ‘Create ZenKraft Shipment’ button on Shipper. Once submitted successfully, the message 'ZenKraft request was created and is being validated and processed. Wait for email of successful creation and refresh this page to view.' will appear. If there are any data-related issues with the Shipper/Container, message with corrective actions will be shown. Once corrected, repeat process to create ZenKraft shipment.
An email is sent by Rootstock indicating the processing of the shipment through ZenKraft. If any errors occurred within the ZenKraft processing, it will be indicated in the body of the email. If an error does occur, correct the issue and repeat Step 6.
Upon successful processing by ZenKraft, the Zenkraft Shipment will be created and visible from SO Shipper page on related lists section. Tracking Numbers and Freight Amount will be written back to the SO Shipper, SO Containers will be stamped with the Tracking numbers. Refresh SO Shipper to see these values.
