Overview
The Costed Bill of Material is used to display the cost roll-up for a Manufactured Item. This includes all eight cost elements. There are multiple types to choose from.

Fields
Division: Division in which the report is to be run.
Parent Item: The Parent or Assembly Item for which the report is to be run.
Type: Report type
NOTE

The cost data for Single Level Simulated, Standard, Historical is sourced from the Inventory Item Std Cost record.

The cost data for Cumulative Simulated, Standard, Historical is sourced from the Inventory Item Std Cost record.

The cost data for the Average Cost is sourced from the Inventory Item Cost/Quantity Last Average Cost of the Item

The cost data for the Cost Rollup Single Level Simulated and Cost Rollup Cumulative Simulated is sourced from the CSITEM record.
NOTE The Average Cost selection is used when the Division Master cost method is set to Weighted Average.
Effective Date: The Effective Date for component selection.
Implemented Only: When Checked, only BOM component Records in the status Implemented are selected.
Single Level Only: The Default report is an indented BOM. When checked, a single-level BOM is presented. The Single Level Costed BOM display shows the data for the Item itself along with the components on the BOM.
Cost Decimal Precision: The number of decimal positions to appear in the report.
Do Not Explode Purchase Items: When checked, the system will not explode any component items under Purchased type items. This also applies when the report is printed as PDF or exported to Excel.
NOTE If the user log in to the page for the first time, the flag 'Do Not Explode Purchase Items' is not checked by default. Otherwise, it is defaulted from the value that was saved previously when the user logged in to this page.
Click Submit button to view the BOM component records associated with the selected Parent Item.
Buttons
Change Search Criteria: Click this button to change the input search criteria.
Print: Click this button to generate a PDF of the BOM.
Export to Excel: Click this button to create a spreadsheet of the BOM.
NOTE If any error occurs during the 'Export to Excel' process (in case of large BOMs) user can create a salesforce report for the BOM Export records and can export it.
