Inventory Item Average Cost Quantity

Overview

This screen displays the Item Average Cost values, which are calculated by the system.

Application

A division configured for weighted average uses this screen to view the Average Cost of an Item in the Division.

Setup

System Setup > Division Master > Cost Method (Weighted Average Cost)

Fields

Cost Method:  Select Weighed Average Cost Method.

Navigation

Inventory Management > Inventory Item Average Cost Quantity

Fields

Division: Identifies the specific Division that this record is associated with.

Item Number:  The identifier for a given part under which the item is tracked in Inventory.

Item Description:  User defined description. This description is displayed throughout the Rootstock product in combination with the associated Item Number.

Quantity On-Hand:  Any transaction that affects the Stock Location quantity whose Stock Location Type is 'O'(On Hand) for a given division will update this field.

Inventory UOM:  Unit of Measure for this item as it pertains to inventory. Other units of measure are used for Engineering, Purchasing and Order Entry.

Quantity Consigned:  Any transaction that affects the Stock Location quantity whose Stock Location Type is 'C'(Consigned) for a given division will update this field.

Quantity Non-Nettable:  Any transaction that affects the Stock Location quantity whose Stock Location Type is 'N'(Non Nettable) for a given division will update this field.
