Overview
The Last Avg Costs tab displays the last average cost for the Item since on-hand Inventory rose above zero, even if the current on-hand is 0. The Last Avg Costs values remain, for reference, when the inventory quantity falls back to zero.

Fields
Last Avg Cost, Mtl: When using Average Cost, this is the last Average Material cost prior to any change to the latest Average Material cost.
Last Avg Cost, Lab: When using Average Cost, this is the last Average Labor cost prior to any change to the latest Average Labor cost.
Last Avg Unit Cost, Material Ohd: When using Average Cost, this is the last Average Material Overhead cost prior to any change to the latest Average Material Overhead cost.
Last Avg Unit Cost, Labor Ohd: When using Average Cost, this is the last Average Labor Overhead cost prior to any change to the latest Average Labor Overhead cost.
Last Avg Unit Cost, Fringe Ohd: When using Average Cost, this is the last Average Fringe Overhead cost prior to any change to the latest Average Fringe Overhead cost.
Last Avg Unit Cost, Machine Ohd: When using Average Cost, this is the last Average Machine Overhead cost prior to any change to the latest Average Machine Overhead cost.
Last Avg Unit Cost, Subcontract Material: When using Average Cost, this is the last Average Subcontract Material cost prior to any change to the latest Average Subcontract Material cost.
Last Avg Unit Cost, Subcontract Labor: When using Average Cost, this is the last Average Subcontract Labor cost prior to any change to the latest Average Subcontract Labor cost.
Last Avg Unit Cost, Total: When using Average Cost, this is the last Average Total cost prior to any change to the latest Average Total cost.
NOTE: When a Division is configured to use Freight and Landed Cost, two additional cost fields will display, the Average Cost, Freight and Avg Cost, Other Landed Cost fields.
Avg Cost, Freight: Under Weighted Avg Cost, this is re-averaged when an item that carries this cost element is increased in inventory. This is calculated by adding the total value of this cost element (unit cost x quantity) to the existing value divided by the new total quantity.
Avg Cost, Other Landed Cost: Under Weighted Avg Cost, this is re-averaged when an item that carries this cost element is increased in inventory. This is calculated by adding the total value of this cost element (unit cost x quantity) to the existing value divided by the new total quantity.
