Overview
Inbound Shipment Route Type records are used in the Inbound Shipment process and define the various transit routes used in transporting material. See below diagram that shows how the Route Types are used in the Inbound Shipment process.

This path takes the user to a List View of the Inbound Shipment Route Type records.
Select ‘New’ to create a new record or click on the name to update an existing record.
Define the Route Type ID, add a Description for the Route and Save.
Fields
Division: Division is set to the Current Division set on your Manufacturing User record and cannot be changed directly in this process. To create or access a record in another Division (including one in another Company), use the Quick Menu option (right side of the screen) to Change Company/Division or update the Current Division on your Manufacturing User record in System Setup.
NOTE Only data within this Company/Division will be displayed.
Route Type ID: A user-defined unique alpha-numeric value up to 30 characters in length.
Description: A user-defined alpha-numeric description up to 100 characters in length.
