Overview
The pay type is used to modify the labor rates for reporting purposes and to be able to book actual pay amounts to Work Order Routing Operations.

Used during the Time and Qty Booking process to record the actual cost of labor charged to a Work Order Operation.Navigation
Labor Pay Type
ProcessingUser is taken to List View, displaying all existing pay types.
To add a new Pay Type, click the ‘New Labor Pay Type’ button. To view or edit an existing pay type, click the desired pay type in the ‘Name’ column. The following depicts adding a new pay type.
1. Enter data
Fields
Labor Pay Type: The code associated with this Labor Pay Type. User defined, up to 10 characters long.
Description: Description of the Labor Pay Type code. Up to 50 characters long.
Hourly Add Amount: In dollars and cents, the adjustment amount (increase only) to the standard hourly pay rate this pay type will make.
Rate Factor: The factor is multiplied times the standard hourly rate for this pay type.
Calculation Examples:
Example 1: Hourly Add Amount only: (Manufacturing User Hourly Rate + Hourly Add Amount) * Entered Hours
Example 2: Rate Faction only: Manufacturing User Hourly Rate * Rate Factor
Example 3: Hourly Add Amount and Rate Factor: ((Manufacturing User Hourly Rate + Hourly Add Amount) * Rate Factor) * Entered Hours
2. Save the recordNotes and Attachments Tab (Optional)
Notes and attachment can be associated to a record.
