Overview
Set optional pricing methodologies for Labor-Only Products, except for ‘Default Material Price Method’, which applies to all Configured Products.
NOTE These settings are used to default the Labor Order Pricing values on a Sales Order Line and can be overridden on the Sales Order Line directly if desired.
Fields
Default Material Price Method: This field is applicable to Configured Products. Options are to use ‘Component Pricing’ or ‘Cost Plus Markup Pct.’ which uses the Default Material Markup Pct’ defined. If using ‘Component Pricing’, components (whether Consumable Component or a Product Component) can be priced using ‘Component Price Maint’ under the Sales Order setup menu.
Default Labor Price Method: This field is only applicable to Labor-Only Products. Options available to use:

‘Price from Sales Order Line’ which uses the value set for ‘Default Labor Price per Hour’.

‘Price from Employee Grade’ which uses ‘Sales Price per Hour’ on the Labor Grade record of the Labor Grade associated with a given operation

‘Cost Plus Markup Pct.’ which uses the ‘Default Labor Markup Pct’ defined.
Default Material Markup Pct: When the Default Material Price Method of ‘Cost Plus Markup Pct.’ is used, this is where the markup percent is defined.
NOTE The maximum allowed percentage on this field '
Default Material Markup Pct' is '999.99'.
Default Labor Markup Pct: When the Default Labor Price Method of ‘Cost Plus Markup Pct.’ is used, this is where the markup percent is defined.

Default Labor Price per Hour: When the Default Labor Price Method of ‘Price from Sales Order Line’ is used, this is where the Price per Hour is defined that defaults on the Sales Order Line.
Alternate Product Pricing Currency: Alternate currency where when adding a Sales Order Line for a Customer matching the currency specified here is used, the corresponding alternate price will be used.
Mtl Price Method – Markup After CompPrce: When this option is active, as Components are being priced on Sales Order Lines with the Material Price Method set to ‘Component Price’ and no Component Price is found, the Cost Plus Markup method will be used.
