Overview
When the component item is serial controlled and issued to the Work Order, the Issued Component Item is linked to the serial number of the item being manufactured. This link between the serial number item being produced and Serialized Item Component is recorded in the Serial Number Record Link function.

IMPORTANT This tab is displayed when the item being manufactured on the Work Order is a serialized item.
Serial Numbers Tab
Fields
Serial Number: When the item being manufactured on the Work Order is serialized, this is the serial number or numbers of the item being produced on this Work Order.
Qty Accepted: This value defines the Quantity Accepted. Its default value is zero. This field is updated when a Work Order Receipt transaction is processed.
Qty Scrapped: Reserved for future use.
Assign Date: This defines the date the Serial Number was assigned. This field is set whenever Serial Number is updated.
NOTE This field is not maintained by the User.
Component Links: This links an issued Serialized Component’s serial number to a serial number of the item manufactured on the Work Order. This also links an issued Lot Controlled Item Lot number to a serial number of an item manufactured on the Work Order. NOTE This record is updated by the User.

Fields - Header
Division: The Division in which the Work Order as issued.
Site: The Site within the Division.
Order Number: The Work Order number.
Serial Sequence Number: The serial sequence of the manufactured item on this Work Order.
Serial Number: The serial number of the item being manufactured and for which serialized or lot controlled components are being linked.
Qty Accepted: Quantity of the item being manufactured received into inventory.
Serial Number Assignment Date: The date the serial number was assigned to the item being manufactured.
Components Link Tab
Fields
Select: Check to select the row.
Component: The Serialized Component issued to the Work Order and linked to the serialized item being manufactured.
Lot No: When a Lot Controlled item is issued and linked to a serial number, the Lot Number is displayed.
Serial Number: The serial number of the Serialized Component issued to the Work Order and assigned to the serial number of the item being manufactured.
Qty Required: The quantity of the component that is required.
Qty Issued: The quantity of the component issued to date.
Qty Linked: The quantity of the issued Serialized Component issued to the Work Order.
Qty Yet to Be Linked: The quantity remaining of the component serialized it to be issued to the Work Order.

'+" Expands the display.
Displays the serialized item being manufactured and the serialized or lot controlled item issued.
