Overview
This function is used to view or print a Work Order Pick List report showing the Work Order Component Items and locations to be picked from an Inventory. If the component item is in more than one inventory location, multiple locations are shown. The Work Order Pick List can be printed after the Work Order Pick List has been generated.
Application
The Pick List provides the production stockroom with a list of component items to be picked and issued to the Work Order from the stockroom.
NOTE Work Order Pick List records must have been generated on the Work Order before the Pick List can be printed.

Processing
Order Number: Select the Work Order number identifying the Pick List to be printed.
Sequence by Location: Check if the Pick List is to be sequenced by location ID to pull parts from inventory easily.
Use location Pick Sequence: Check if the Pick List is to be sequenced by the Location Pick List sequence. When selected, the Pick Sequence number on the Inventory Location Number Record sets the order.
Once the above options are selected, click the Generate Pick List button. The page will refresh and the below fields are displayed.
Display Logo on Pick List: When checked, the Company Logo will be printed in the Picklist report.
Include Reference Items: When checked, the Reference Items will be included in the Picklist report.
Print Bar Codes on Pick List: When checked, barcodes will be printed in the Picklist report.
NOTE This field 'Print Bar Codes on Pick List' is displayed only when the flag 'Barcode Printing Active' is checked on the System Defaults record.
Work Order
Fields
Item Number: The Item Number being manufactured on the Work Order.
Item Description: The description of the item number being manufactured on the Work Order.
Due Date: The Due Date for the inventory of the item being manufactured.
Planner: The Work Order planner.
Qty Required: The quantity required for the item being manufactured.
Status: The status of the Work Order.
Project: The project for which the item on the Work Order is being manufactured.
Pick List
Fields
Component Item: Item Number of the component to be picked for issuing to the Work Order.
Dmd Line: Demand Line of the component item from the Work Order Line Number.
Pick Qty: The quantity of the component to pick for issuing to this Work Order.
Loc ID: The location ID of the on-hand inventory of the component item.
Loc No: The location Number of the on-hand inventory of the component item.
Loc Qty: The quantity of the component item in the location ID/Location No.
Expiration Date: If the component is lot controlled and the expiration date is active, the expiration date of the lot.
Lot/Serial No: The Lot and/or Serial number identifier of the component item. If multiple lots and/or serial numbers exist in this location, the words ‘Multiple Entries’ will appear here.
Date Required: The date required to be issued to the Work Order.
Issuing Project: The project from which the component inventory will be issued.
Work Center: A Work Center associated with a component item. At times, components are required later in the manufacturing process and may even be split among two or more Work Centers. This is the Work Center (and associated quantity) where the component is specifically required.
Inventory UOM: The Inventory unit of measure of the component item to be issued.
Qty Picked: Area on the document to record the quantity picked for this Work Order.
NOTE Generating the Work Order Pick List does not perform any transactions.
Click the Display PDF button to generate the Wo Picklist report.
NOTE When the Display PDF button is clicked, the system generates the picklist report based on the 'Override Form Tool - WO Picklist' field value on the System Defaults record as mentioned below:

When it is set to 'RootForms', the Picklist report is printed using the Template specified in the field 'Form Template - Work Order Picklist' on the associated Division Master record.

When it is set to 'PDF', the Picklist report is printed using the 'WOPickListPdf' VF Page.
IMPORTANT

When printing the Picklist report using the 'WOPickListPdf' VF Page, the flag 'Print Bar Codes on Pick List' should be checked to print the barcodes on the generated Picklist report.

When printing using RootForms, the barcode merge field on the RootForms Template specified on the field 'Form Template - Work Order Picklist' should be configured as below:
To Download or Print the PDF
Hover over the Picklist report and select the appropriate download or print icon.
NOTE The Work Order Pick List can also be printed from the Work Order using the quick menu by choosing the Work Order Pick List Input selection.
