Overview
The dates on the Work Order Dates tab are used to track the various stages of a Work Order.

Fields
Status Date: This date is updated each time the Work Order status is changed; it displays the date the current status was reached.
Scheduled Firm Date: This is the date on which the Materials Requirments Planning generated Work Order is to be firmed in order to be completed by the due date. This date is calculated by taking the Date Required backed off by the Manufacturing Lead Time to determine the Start Date, which is then backed off by the combined Work Order Pick Lead Time and the Work Order Firm Lead Time.
Scheduled Release Date: The date the Work Order is to be released (status incremented to 4). This date is calculated by taking the Date Required backed off by the Manufacturing Lead Time to determine the Start Date, which is then backed off by the Work Order Release Lead Time
Scheduled Pick Date: This is the date that the components are scheduled to be picked from the stockroom. It is calculated by taking the Date Required backed off by the Manufacturing Lead Time, then backed off by the Work Order Pick Lead Time
Scheduled Completion Date: The date this order needs to be completed in manufacturing. It is calculated by the system scheduler and is set to the last Work Order operation's scheduled completion date. The scheduler forward schedules from the Work Order Release Date. It is populated after the system scheduler is run.
Days Early/Late: The Work Order Scheduled Completion Date is calculated by Scheduling function. The Work Order Date Required is calculated by Materials Required Planning or entered. If Positive (+) the scheduled date is GT (later) then Due Date. If Negative (-) the scheduled date is LT (earlier) than the due date.
Actual Firm Date: This is the date that the Work Order was firmed (changed from status 1 - Planned, to status 2 - Firmed).
Actual Release Date: This is the date that the status of the Work Order was set to be released.
Actual Pick Date: This is the date that the first component was issued to the Work Order.
Actual Close Date: The date the Work Order was Closed.
