Overview
In addition to Material Requirements Planning results, a planner may determine there is a need for a Work Order which has not been planned by Material Requirements Planning. A Manually Entered Work Order is a Work Order which the planner creates using the Work Orders object.

Types of Manually Entered Work Orders
The Manually Entered Work Order can be any type of Work Order.
Use:
- Standard to manufacture an Item.
- Rework for an Item in inventory.
- Refurbish or Refurbish-Consigned also for an Item in inventory.
- Disassembly to take an Inventory Item and break it down to its components.
Header Fields
Division: The Division in which the Work Order will be created.
Site: The Site within the Division in which the Work Order will be created.
Order Number: The Work Order number. This must begin with an alpha-character when adding a manual Work Order.
Item Number: The item number of the Item on the Work Order.
Qty Required: Quantity of the Work Order.
Date Due: The date the Work Order is due.
Status: Manually Entered Work Orders are Status 2-Firm.
Planner: Populates when the Item number is entered.
Project: When the Project is active in the Division, select the Project.
Project Charge Code: When Project Charge codes are defined, select.

Fields
Rework: Set to indicate a Rework Work Order.
Refurb: Set to indicate a Refurbish Work Order.
Disassembly: Display only. Not used when manually entering Work Orders. See Disassembly Work Orders.
Estimate Indicator: Display Only. Not used when manually entered Work Orders.
WOSO LInk Indicator: Display only. Not used in manually entered Work Orders.
Sales Order Line: Display only. Not used in manually entered Work Orders.
Consigned: Set indicator if the item on the Work Order is a Consigned Inventory Item.
Archived: Display only. Not used in manually entered a Work Orders.

NOTE If the Work Order is manually entered, this number must begin with an “Alpha” character. The Work Order number is manually assigned by the User. When MRP plans orders, Work Orders numbers are numeric-only and generated by the MRP planning function.
